PU injection, also polyurethane grouting or injection, uses expanding polyurethane injection foams and crack injection resins to prevent water flowing through voids or cracks. The suitability of polyurethane as a waterproofing method in active leaks is enhanced by the short accelerator adjusted curing time.
Based on the product chosen, the polyurethane injection resins will retain a certain amount of flexibility which allows for subsequent movement in the structure while keeping the seal intact.
